What words describe your chaotic mind today?

Creative writing by robin ellen lucas with enhance your online advertising with start-of-the-art ad copyWhat words describe you in this moment?

Feeling like you woke up on the wrong side of the bed and need to restart your morning?

Feeling computer savvy yet you have housework to do and feeling your insides jumping out of their skin begging you to exercise?

Feeling like you would love to jump-start your business on all social media sites that you can think of, but chaos in your mind creeps in to tell you that you don't know where to start?

One of my artist social media clients told me this morning:

Sometimes my social media computer brain wants to walk into the woods and spend all day amongst the air and reality of the temporal world... to realign my molecules to focus on pixels and bytes.

What a great way to put it! Many of you can probably relate to moody feelings that you just aren't in the mood to be productive and your brain gives you many reasons why...  (and sometimes you desperately do need that nature time).

The best way, however, to get centered and work toward effective productivity is to:

  1. BELIEVE that it's possible.
  2. Make an exhaustive to-do list and get out a piece of paper, detailed with times for the day. If you like colors, prepare to make this list color-coded (i.e., a different color for each type of task such as purple for kids, green for work, red for exercise, etc.).
  3. Make your daily calendar... (Do it online if you enjoy your online calendar).
  4. Drink some water...
  5. Close your eyes and calm your nerves and then start doing it!

Adjust as you go through the day and don't give yourself a hard time if you have the timing off on your initial plan for your day. You might even find that you go through it quicker than you think with your newly productive mind!

I am my own best chaos... So I look for continuing progressions where the digital anonymous social media atmospheres can be made the most sense of, and do the most good. You are contributing to this aim, with realistic helpful advice. Like color-coding daily a to-do list, bringing the law of attraction right into the creative space where i live, thanks... water in hand and ready to manage my way through today.

[...] it... you can actually use this situation to express some bothersome activity in your brain (a.k.a. your own chaotic mind, your own tangled web of thoughts).   You can just blame your outbursts on the iPhone [...]
