REL Copywriting ("I,”, “my” or "this website") respects your privacy. This page explains what information I collect through relcopywriting.com, how I use it and what I will never do with it.
My promise about your email address:
I do not sell, rent or trade your email address, or any other personal information. I do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask me to. Your information is used only to respond to you and to provide the services you request.
What I collect:
Contact form: your name, email address, business name and the message you choose to send.
Scheduling: when you book a meeting through my scheduling page (powered by Acuity Scheduling), I receive your name, email address, phone number and appointment time. There are no notes fields for any details.
Website activity: like most websites, this site is hosted by Squarespace, which may collect basic visit data such as your browser type, pages viewed and approximate location through cookies and analytics tools.
How I use it:
To reply to your messages, schedule and hold meetings, send proposals or invoices if we work together and keep the site running smoothly.
Who else sees it:
Only the services that make the site work: Squarespace (website hosting, contact form and analytics), Acuity Scheduling (appointments) and Godaddy (email hosting). These providers handle your information under their own privacy policies. I do not share it with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
Links to other sites:
This site links to outside services for my social media, which includes Substack, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Alignable, Medium and Amazon. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and I'm not responsible for them.
How long I keep it:
I keep messages and booking details for as long as needed to serve you and to meet business and tax record requirements, then delete them.
Your choices:
You can ask me at any time to see, correct or delete the information I have about you. Email me at your email address or text me from your phone number, and I will respond within 30 days. If you ever receive an email from me you didn't want, tell me and I'll stop.
Security:
I use reputable platforms and take reasonable care to protect your information, but no online system is perfectly secure.
Children:
This site is meant for adults and isn't directed at children under 13.
Changes:
If I change this policy, I'll post the new version here with an updated date.
